Dana Adobe Web site gets a new look

The Dana Adobe has a snazzy new Web site thanks to two tech-savvy teens.

Jubilee Nordwall, 15, and brother Josiah, 13, helped dad Grant Nordwall create the new site.

The "old pros" have also worked on two other Web sites: one for the local Arabian horse club and another for their aunt’s gourmet food business.

"It’s more of a hobby," Jubilee said. "We enjoy it."

Jubilee created the newsroom page and the buttons seen on the adobe’s home page. Josiah reformatted almost all the pages, he said, which was "pretty easy."

The trio made existing content on the site easier to use, said Paul Mangione, public relations director for the Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos, and made it a good source of information for people interested in the historic adobe.

Jubilee and Josiah’s mother, Camille Nordwall, said that the project has been a great educational experience for the children, who are home-schooled.
