Program Coordinator
The DANA Adobe at Historic Rancho Nipomo is a 130-acre museum and outdoor facility that engages visitors with the stories of early California, its people and cultures, and the region’s natural environment. The Program Coordinator is pivotal to serve as a driving force for the implementation and success of programs and initiatives. The Program Coordinator will oversee multiple projects and provide direction and support to ensure alignment with DANA’s mission and goals. This position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate excels in communication and managing teams and projects. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implementing programs in education, events, marketing, and administration
  • Managing program budgets and resources
  • Monitoring and evaluating program performance and outcomes
  • Providing leadership and direction to committees and volunteers
  • Facilitating communication among team members and the public
  • Other duties as assigned

Program Coordinator Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, communications, or related field
  • Experience in program management or related roles
  • Proven track record of successful program implementation
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial analysis
  • Familiarity with grant writing and funding procurement
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Canva, and Gmail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
